We have been communicating with the band to meet soon to create a Q & A that we will be posting on our Instagram story so that we can create engagement from the public. We will make a story post to open up a discussion of questions that they want the band members to answer.
Alongside, we will also have our own foto shoot of the band in order to create more posts for the Instagram of the band together. We have been texting through the group chat to coordinate dates it has been a tough task since we are a lot of people and we all have busy lives but we are trying our best to communicate and plan in order to make this work.
In the next few weeks, there is a lot coming and we are very excited to share all our. journey and experiences with you guys. We are putting a lot of thought and love into everything we do to make sure it comes out the best way possible. I am very excited to share everything with everyone here and we will let you know when we have any updates.
Hello, we are so excited we have been posting many updates on our social media @________Plutotheband don't forget to follow it to keep updated but here we posted behind the scenes and some previews of the demo.
In class we had a PowerPoint talking about public engagement and we came up with many ideas such as giveaways, guest stars, parties, live performances, limited merch drops with many others we will announce in the future.
With our team, we are trying to post more consistently and provide you guys with a lot of behind the scene content to help the engagement grow and keep everyone up with what is new with the band.
We know it's especially important with our project to do a lot of public engagement and one of the biggest things we are looking forward to doing is a contest where the audience does something we don't know yet as a contest and whoever wins will have the chance to be a part of the music video.
This is very exciting and we will look forward to sharing with you guys everything we do so you can all take a part in this project and help us grow!
We will soon be doing a photoshoot with the band in order to begin working on the digipack. Gerardo has a camera that he will bring along in order for us to get really good pictures of the band members individually and all together. This will be a crazy experience that we will be posting about on our Instagram to show you guys exclusive content and behind the scenes.
We will try to set the mood to a purple tone that we will try to do with lighting but if we are not able to do that we will do it in the after edit of the pictures. The band has the themes of the colors purple, blue, and pink which is what we are going to try to portray through the photoshoot and through our digipack.
We are also thinking of doing a Q&A video of the band with questions you guys will provide to us since we will post an Insta story with the option to send us in your question and then we will ask them to the band in order for everyone to get to know them better and get their doubts out of the way.

We are waiting for Tuesday to come up and we are so excited but meanwhile we wait we finally posted the member introduction to our Instagram. We asked the band members to send us a picture of themselves and then a short introduction of who they are. This was very nice since we know the public wants to get to know the band deeper, more for who they are to be able to connect with them.

"Hey! I’m Gabbie, also know as the Brazilian. I am the lead singer of Pluto and occasionally play guitar. I was captured by Mia to be in this band. h e l p.”
She is one of the band members and this is her picture she sent us, the only thing we did was edit the background to make it purple to be able to stay consistent with the theme of our Instagram.
Besides this post we posted the flier to one of the gigs that they are going to have this week. We created our own post but we took the general idea from the poster they posted to their Instagram. We are trying to keep the aesthetic of purple and pink since it's what really represents the band.
Go like the new posts of the band and meet the members. Also, we did the poster for their gig that is actually happening in real life. We will share content from that too! They are playing with another band thats friends with them called "The Priorities." They are playing on March 12 at 6pm in Tequila Sunrise.

In addition, today in class we had a lesson about Social Media Marketing were my team and I came up with a lot of ideas to engage the audience and help the band grow but we will share our ideas once we have the official information for now we are just brainstorming.
Something very important before starting anything is understanding who we want to address, who we want to be our main stream viewers since we need to come up with the perfect marketing campaign for the band.
They already have their audience which is mostly teenagers since they have done many gigs. One for example being, they played at the Homecoming for our High School. Alongside they do many gigs at different places. Here they are exposed to a variety of audiences, from Gen Z to Millennials to many more, however; we personally want to focus on a younger audience since the band is all high school student.
We researched and realized that the split between the male listers and female listeners is even its a 50-50 ratio. Also we looked for the most popular genre in the world and rock is the main one.
This is going to facilitate our process since we know a lot of people enjoy listening to rock music however, we still need to think how to attract the Generation Z. Obviously, the main way of doing this is a social media campaign which is what we will be doing through out our insta through promoting with #hashtags and keep our audience engaged by constantly posting. Another thing is making all our feed aesthetic and minimalistic. We will include bright colors to match the rock vibe as well as a lot of purple since its the band main color.
We will post stories so that our audience can keep up with the band and feel a connection since they will get exclusive behind the scene content. Alongside, we will be releasing merch through the Instagram shop since this will provide an audience an easier access to viewing all the amazing things that we will be selling.
Our main goal is to help the band expand and grow to bigger and better since they are already doing great. We want to help them reach a larger audience and attract more people that will want to hear them play.
Even though, we know Rock is not as common amongst the teenager we will still try to target them since we believe they are the ones that potentially could enjoy the bands music. Also, we are not closing our selfs up to anyone we will also be promoting for an older audience but they won't be our main target because due to the fact that the band is formed by teenager we believe Gen Z will enjoy this better!
So while we wait for the band to record the demo on Tuesday March 8, 2022 we are starting to work on new material for our blog and Instagram.
We are starting to work on an introduction post so that you guy can all be able to meet the band and who they are individually. We are still editing everything and getting all the pictures together but soon the new post will be up, and hopefully next week we can release a little preview of the demo and obviously more content for you guys to see.
We texted the band and communicated them with this idea and they really likes it. They are sending in the pictures and a little bio so that we can edit it and make it look aesthetic to match the Insta.
So we began working on the posts and editing them with Adobe Photoshop and we placed a background to match the Instagram. We are placing a purple background because that is what we are trying to do for our whole insta which is match the background of all our posts, meaning making them purple. We took last class to begin working on it, and its coming out really nice hopefully soon we can keep working on more content.
This are some screenshots of our process and we will soon share our final result of the project. What we are going to start working on next are the highlights and stories alongside developing merch for the band and other marketing strategies to help the band grow!
The week thats coming back is going to be very essential for our project due to the fact that the band is going to record the demo and we will finally be able to listen to song. We got the preview of the lyrics but Gerardo, Sofi, and me are so excited to finally be able to listen to the complete song with the beats and everything.
They will go to Hollywood on Tuesday March 9, 2022. They invited us to go to the shoot so we are looking forward to being at the studio. Me personally I have never been to a recording studio so I am very excited to be attending. We will also be getting a lot of footage to post stories and an actual post to our Instagram account to promote the song. We will be sharing the footage here to but our main source will be Instagram since that is a great way to engage our audience with the band and help them connect.
This will also be a great opportunity for us to bond with the band and finally get to know them better. We will ask them about the history if their band and how everything started to give you guys a little background story about their group. I think this is going to be an amazing experience that is going to bring us all closer together making hopefully be friends.
