CONTEST

Participation is HIGHLY encouraged!

We finally made the post for our contest in where one of the bands fan will have the opportunity to be a part of Plutos music video.

We created a story post which will be placed as a highlight so it’s up 24/7 in where we communicated everything that had to be done.

First:

We created a poll to introduce the topic to others of what is coming. We tried to stick to the same purple theme as the background and added a few details with the colors pink and blue to make it more aesthetic since it looked super emotes without it. We did this to engage the audience and get them excited and curious about what is happening.

Then we introduce the steps that need to be done in order to participate in the contest and everything they have to do in order to win!

Then we posted a story with everything they will receive if they win the contest encouraging them to participate everything is exclusive which is something that makes them thing about how this is a once in a life time opportunity encouraging them to take a part in this amazing contest! 

We are hoping that this will build suspense for the music video building a larger fan engagement since they will be able to be a part of something bigger helping people build the tension before the music video is released! We don’t know when we will announce the winner but we will post the date in a highlight, it will probably be between the 1st and the 2nd. 

Schedule

Next few weeks

After mix ups and mix downs we were finally able to communicate and come up with the perfect schedule to be able to complete the project.

It was very hard to come up to the conclusion of something since we all have busy life’s and it’s hard for 8 people to coordinate something but we finally did it. 

We first came up with a schedule with Gerardo and Sofi.

Then we communicated it with the band, however the band did not agree and sent us their calendar with their availabilities.

     

They said that the days with the green ‘X’ were the only days they had available. My group and I worried since the project is almost due however after discussing all together and many changes we came up with a schedule that worked perfect for all 8 of us.

This is our schedule we hope to be able to stick to in order to complete the project which is due April 10th. We will finish recording the video by the 5th and start editing throughout the 6th and 7th hopefully release the video April 8th. This is our plan up to now and I don’t see and bumps we could have but we never know so we’re crossing our fingers 🤞🏼 and hoping for the best!

History

How I met your band?

It’s crazy how one event can change your life completely, how saying yes to doing something changes your life and it makes a 360 degree turn.

Well this is what happened to Pluto the band, here is the story of how they met and became a band…

Mia and Cameron have a class together, they have music theory together at their high school. Suddenly one day their teacher communicated and asked the class if anyone new or had a band that would be willing to play at our schools home coming. Cameron raised his hand and told the teacher, “Mia and I have a band” even though they did not have a band yet. After that, Mia recruited Jack, Jade, and Gabbie to be a part of the band. They had all previously met at School of Rock and then came together and formed Pluto. They had no intentions to stay together they thought it would just be a one time thing but after seeing how much hype they received after HOCO, they decided to stay together, and now we are here helping this amazing band grow together to become something bigger than they already are!

This is an amazing story and inspiring for other to think of how one sudden impulse could revolutionize one’s life. Sometimes taking a leap of faith can change one’s life for the better and that’s what happened to Pluto and we are super thankful and lucky they did because now we all get to work together!!

Brainstorm

 New Idea!

We recently came up with the idea to create a competition between the band's fans in which one lucky winner gets the chance to participate in the music video with the band as well receive merch that will be autographed by all the band members. The winner will get tech chance to have one on one time with the band and be able to be seen side by side with them in a music video.

We will begin this by making a poster and in the bio of the post we will share all the steps on how to do it:

There are going to steps the public has to follow in order to take place in the contest. This will create engagement and motivate the audience to be more aware of our account. Alongside, it will also help the band grow since other people will be reposting it, this will create a greater outreach that will create more people to become fans of the band. This is very exciting and this will help us grow a lot. We will be posting more information soon and we will be crating the post soon to begin increasing the number of fans the band has and help them grow as much as possible with our help. This is going to be something huge and something we encourage all of you guys to take part in.  I know that band will be looking forward to it to sine they want to set a deeper connection with their fan, unfortunately, it's hard to meet all of them so this contest will make it possible for one person to behave the opportunity to interact with every one, take pictures, learn of the behind sets is like, and be able to receive the special merch!

Live Performance!

The band recently sent us a video of one of their live performance and I thought I would go ahead and share with you guys this amazing insight into who the band really is and how they connect together on stage. They have amazing chemistry between all of them and they sound amazing together. We are so excited to show you guys this and so excited to be able to record a music video for them!

 They sounded amazing together and we are looking forward to soon being able to put a video into the song we have so many ideas and once we piece everything together it will look amazing.

New Insta Stories

So with the gig that the band had Sofia created new stories to engage the public to go and listen to the band playing live.

We posted a little sneak pic of the band performing at the studio and then we posted an interactive story to engage the audience and to get a percentage of the people that would be attending the show. This gives us information on who our main audience is and who is the most interested in the band. 

We added the location tag to make sure the public knows where the gig is so they would not get confused. Then we promoted the poster we made for the gig so that we would get more engagement on the actual post due to the fact that when society sees a post being tagged they usually click on it and interact. This creates fan engagement and motivation to come since they see the band being excited through the post they feel more motivated and encouraged to go and attend the live performance. The second post was made matching our purple and pink aesthetic and then the first post of the band playing was decorated with purple letters which match our aesthetic vibe of Instagram. We got a lot of engagement in our interactive post which we hope did encourage a lot of people to go!

Meet Up

MEETING!

We have been communicating with the band to meet soon to create a Q & A that we will be posting on our Instagram story so that we can create engagement from the public. We will make a story post to open up a discussion of questions that they want the band members to answer.

Alongside, we will also have our own foto shoot of the band in order to create more posts for the Instagram of the band together. We have been texting through the group chat to coordinate dates it has been a tough task since we are a lot of people and we all have busy lives but we are trying our best to communicate and plan in order to make this work. 

In the next few weeks, there is a lot coming and we are very excited to share all our. journey and experiences with you guys. We are putting a lot of thought and love into everything we do to make sure it comes out the best way possible. I am very excited to share everything with everyone here and we will let you know when we have any updates.
